About the Role:

Our client, a leading insurance provider, is seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst to join their dynamic actuarial team. This role will focus on pricing and analytics across multiple commercial lines, including Workers' Compensation, Auto, General Liability, and Property. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical mindset, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for solving complex business problems through data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance pricing models for various commercial lines of business.
  • Analyze loss trends, rate indications, and profitability metrics.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, product, and finance teams to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare and present actuarial findings to internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development of new products and pricing strategies.
  • Support regulatory filings and compliance efforts as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of actuarial experience in the property & casualty insurance industry.
  • Experience with pricing for Workers' Compensation, Auto, General Liability, or Property lines is highly preferred, though not required.
  • Progress toward actuarial credentials; ACAS designation or near-ACAS is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in actuarial software and tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, R, Python, or SAS).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
