A top-tier firm is actively seeking a mid-level Intellectual Property Attorney to join its high-impact IP litigation team in New York. Represent leading pharmaceutical and biotech clients in Hatch-Waxman and BPCIA patent litigation across domestic and global markets.

Areas of specialization include international finance and business law matters. Attorneys have had close ties with the New York legal market for numerous years. They are involved in seminars, conferences, and other industry events during the year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent innovator pharmaceutical and biotech companies in complex IP litigation

• Manage Hatch-Waxman and/or BPCIA matters from pleadings through trial

• Draft litigation documents, including motions, memoranda, and expert materials

• Conduct legal research and develop case strategy in coordination with global teams

• Participate in discovery, depositions, and client meetings

• Work directly with clients, experts, and international colleagues on multi-jurisdictional litigation

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of IP litigation experience; class years 2020–2022 preferred

• Background in Hatch-Waxman and/or BPCIA litigation strongly preferred

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school or equivalent LL.M.

• Strong academic record required

• Admission to practice or willingness to become admitted in New York, Massachusetts, or D.C.

• Strong writing, research, and case management skills
