Lead Maintenance & Engineering Manager (Mexico-based applicants only)

Location: Rural Hall, North Carolina, USA (On-site)

Relocate to the U.S. and take charge of engineering leadership in a high-performing, growth-focused plant.

This is a unique opportunity for a Mexico-based engineering leader to join a U.S. manufacturing site as a Lead Maintenance & Engineering Manager under a TN visa . Backed by a major capital investment, this site is looking for a technically skilled, bilingual (Spanish-English) professional ready to drive real operational change—and grow into future Plant leadership.

Are bilingual (Spanish-English) and currently residing in Mexico , eligible for TN visa sponsorship.

What you’ll do:

Lead and coach a cross-functional maintenance team, including PLC technicians and engineers
Implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program (PM) and CMMS system
Manage the plant’s maintenance and automation systems—including PLCs, SCADA, and robotics
Deliver plant-wide capital projects ($25K–$500K), totaling ~$2M annually
Drive process improvement through SOPs, data metrics, and predictive maintenance
Ensure safety and compliance, while developing a culture of continuous improvement
Collaborate with engineering, IT, and production teams to align strategy and systems

What you’ll bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation Engineering
7–10 years of maintenance and engineering experience, with at least 3 years leading teams
Expertise in troubleshooting and managing automation systems (PLC/SCADA/robotics)
Proficiency in CMMS and technical reporting
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
