The Clinician Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing candidates through physician databases, websites, job boards, cold calling, and building relationships with residency programs. They should have excellent organizational skills in order to build and maintain a pipeline of prospective candidates. Additionally, they should be committed to both meeting and exceeding assigned quotas.

Essential Duties:

  • Propose innovative solutions to overcome recruiting barriers and develop strategies for new initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to understand recruitment needs and align strategies with organizational goals.
  • Utilize various channels, including digital media, job boards, cold calling, conferences, and local/national outreach campaigns, to identify and attract qualified candidates.
  • Maintain a strong network within the Hospitalist and Emergency Medicine communities.
  • Lead weekly recruiting meetings with Practice stakeholders, including Medical Directors and operations teams, to ensure alignment with recruitment goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline the recruitment process and improve overall efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough candidate assessments, including CV reviews and interviews.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to candidates and make informed decisions on candidate qualifications.
  • Discuss employment agreements and compensation terms with potential candidates.
  • Collaborate with the onboarding team to ensure a smooth transition for newly recruited physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs).
  • Attend national and local conferences to network, stay informed about industry trends, and promote our organization.
  • Conduct candidate hospital tours to highlight our facilities and opportunities.
  • Maintain and develop pipeline of eligible candidates for future open positions
  • Conduct interviews via phone or in-person
  • Qualify or reject candidates based on interview feedback and CV reviews
  • Participating in conferences, job fairs, and physician recruitment opportunity events
  • Some travel to attend conferences and candidate hospital tours.

  • Bachelor’s degree

Experience:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of Healthcare recruitment experience
  • Hospital Medicine and/or Emergency Medicine recruitment experience strongly preferred
